Open the app, no store required

Bourbon Intelligence runs in your browser. Open it, add it to your home screen, and it behaves like a native app. There is no account and no password: your shelf is tied to a private household key kept on your devices, and anyone you share the shelf with gets their own key.

Scan the label

Point your camera at a bottle. The scan reads the distillery, expression, proof, age statement, mash bill, and batch or barrel numbers, then shows you a draft record. Check it, fix anything, choose Vault or Bar, and save. Adding by search or by hand works too, for bottles with shy labels.

3

Live with the shelf

Open a bottle and it moves from the Vault to the Bar. Nudge the fill level as it drops: 100, 75, 50, 25. Finish it and it joins your finished list with your rating. Your hunt list stays ranked in tiers, and the same list powers vault drop alerts for allocated bottles.

4

Host a tasting

Build flights by category, pick bottles from your collection, choose blind or known, and share the guest link. Friends open it, type a first name, and rank each flight favorite-first as they taste, with an optional star rating per bottle. Rankings save as they go.

5

Reveal together

When the last pour is ranked, hit reveal. Every phone shows the bottles behind the letters, the points standings, the group favorite, and each guest's own card against the group. Settle the argument with data, then pour the winner again.

The fine print, in large print.

Blind means blind

In blind mode, bottle identities are not included in what guests' phones receive at all, not hidden, not scrambled. They only exist after you reveal.

Links that expire

A tasting link lives for seven days, long enough for the night and the group chat after it, then it closes itself.

Points, fairly counted

In a flight of N bottles, a first-place rank earns N points, second earns N-1, and so on. Standings sum across every guest, so the group favorite is the group's, not the loudest voice's.

Ready when your shelf is.

Open the app and scan your first bottle. The tasting link can wait until Friday.
